We are offering a dynamic opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Auburn, California

This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily finance activities like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Assist in financial record preparation and report generation.

Act as the Functional owner for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Coordinate monthly financial closings and assist with spending variance analysis.

Ensure timely completion of financial statements and schedules.

Manage monthly general ledger account reconciliation and sign-off.

Assist in annual Plan, Tax Package, and Year-End report preparation.

Analyze spending variances during monthly close and make necessary corrections.

Supervise assigned direct reports.

Assist in tax minimization strategies and maintain daily sales reports.

Work with auditors to explain accounting procedures and facilitate audits.

Support the development of financial plans, forecasts, and reporting.

Coordinate annual plan preparation and maintain compliance procedures.

Conduct performance and forecast reviews regularly.

Undertake any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years in General Accounting, preferably in manufacturing. Aerospace/Defense experience is beneficial.

Knowledge: Familiarity with internal control procedures.

Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in standard cost accounting, manufacturing information systems, and tax law.

Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Experience with payroll, treasury functions, Federal Tax law, and Government accounting regulations.
