JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The Accounting Manager position willreport to the Accounting Director for IPS. This role will involveentering and reviewing monthly and quarterly journal entries, andbalance sheet reconciliations. This is a leadership/manager positionwith important controlling and reporting activities with direct reportsas well as crucial involvement in special projects and implementations.Major Responsibilities: Review monthly journal entries and overallgeneral ledger for accuracy and proper recording of transactions.Reviewer of various inventory responsibilities including standardcosting and annual updates, book to perpetuals, Excess & ObsoleteInventory, Lower of Cost or Net Realizable Value, cycle counts, andphysical counts. Developer of improvements to current accountingprocesses to facilitate more efficient and accurate month end close andreconciliation processes. Manager or accounting team to drive completionof deliverables and progress on larger projects Serve as a segmentFinance Leader for special projects, system implementations/changes, andother valuable process improvement related endeavors Perform/delegaterequests by Finance Leadership and review work as needed to adhere tocorporate policies and procedures. Develops and implements continuousprocess improvements in the accounting and compliance processes ofRegal. Develops processes and controls to ensure compliance withstatutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policiesProtects operations by keeping financial information and plansconfidential. Contributes to team efforts of the global Segment byaccomplishing related results as needed. Performs tasks in accordancewith Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Provides data asrequested to internal and external auditors for the corporate accountinggroup Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor\'s degree inAccounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred 5+ years of Financerelated experience 1+ years of Manager/direct report experiencepreferred Experience working for a company in the Manufacturing sectionExperience with SAP, One Stream, Oracle, and Hyperion a plus Travel: IPSsegment is a Global Business.
