Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting Manager – This is an active role responsible for managing the Accounting staff.
Reviewing ledger entries and reconciliations for the monthly close.
Overseeing the work of the staff accountant.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Financial Reporting
Manage controller’s checklist to ensure all entries are posted to the general ledger for the close period.
Run and prepare profit recognition for Work in Process schedules for 3 Companies which is reviewed by the CFO, Executive Management and Operations.
Preparation of mid-year reforecast and annual budget.
Maintain all insurance schedules (GL, WC, Auto, etc.). Included by not limited to the preparation of monthly entries, participation in audits and develop methods of forecasting for the policy period.
Preparation of binders for Executive Management that include internal P&Ls, cash flows, aged receivables, and WIP Reports for all trade lines.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly performance financial schedules for review by Corporate, the CFO, Executive Management and Operations.
Preparation of monthly Accounting Schedules which include: Statement of Cash flow, WIP reconciliation, PP&E, Debt, Business Insurance.
Preparation of monthly internal financials for the Building, JOC, Mechanical and Close Out Group.
Preparation of monthly consolidation and elimination entries.
Other
Coordinator for internal and external audits.
Respond timely to information requests from Corporate, CFO, Executive Management, and Legal.
Ad hoc reporting as needed.
