Description

　　Robert Half is in search of an Accounting Manager for a real estate company based in San Francisco. This role's duties will require leading daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. If you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations, you will be preferred for this position. 　　Responsibilities

　　Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

　　Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

　　Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

　　Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating

　　Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

　　Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

　　Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

　　Requirements - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

　　CPA or MBA preferred

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

　　Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

　　Background working with Annual Close Processes

　　Earlier work involving Month-end Close Activities

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Private Grants

　　Knowledge of NetSuite

　　Accounting 2000 experience

　　General familiarity with non-profit fund accounting

　　Hands-on experience with payroll

　　Experience with fixed assets

　　Journal entries experience preferred

　　Practical knowledge of Fiscal Management

　　General ledger experience desired

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Previous experience working with Monthly Close

　　Prior experience with accruals

　　Good understanding of month end closings

　　Year-end Close experience highly valued

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Foundational knowledge in Annual Planning

　　Adeptness in Government Grants

　　Knowledge of GAAP Accounting

　　Monthly Close Processes experience highly preferred

　　Comprehension of Annual Audited Financial Statements

　　Proficiency in US GAAP

　　OMB A-133 Audit experience highly desired

　　Foundation Grants experience highly desired

　　7+ years of recent relevant financial experience

　　Reliable technology and analytical abilities

　　Excellent problem-solving skills
