Description:

　　Valero is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join the Feedstock Accounting group at the Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. This position, under general supervision, processes accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related transactions in SAP according to established policies and procedures. Coordinates with external and internal customers to ensure all assigned transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner for cash collections, payment, and accounting close purposes. Other duties:

　　Records journal entries, performs reconciliations, and makes adjustments and/or corrections as necessary.Processes feedstock purchases and sales for timely payment.Coordinates and works with internal customers, external customers, and vendors to ensure proper recording/classification of transactions, verify accuracy of pricing and volumes, and review and ensure compliance with customer and vendor contracts and deal sheet terms.Performs month-end closing duties to ensure accurate financial reporting (e.g., review accounts receivable/payable, reporting, etc.).Assists with special projects for management or other operational areas as needed.Processes billings of secondary costs to third party and intercompany customers.Assists with coordination and submission of daily feedstock and secondary cost wirelist.Performs other duties as assigned.This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

　　Qualifications:

　　* High School Diploma or GED required. * 3 years of Accounting experience required. * Bachelor's or higher level degree in Accounting preferred. * Refinery or related experience preferred. * Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas required.

　　Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
