This Accounting Clerk position at a reputable business is for someone who can handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). 　　Key responsibilities

　　Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

　　Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

　　Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

　　Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

　　Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed Requirements - Account analysis experience

　　Proven knowledge of Account Balance

　　Account Discrepancies experience

　　Expertise in Budget Processes

　　Account Balance experience preferred

　　Well-founded grasp of account analysis

　　Solid understanding of Annual Budget

　　Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

　　Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

　　Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

　　2+ years of accounting experience required

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
