Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into our accounting software, ensuring all figures and documents are correct, classified, and recorded.
Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage daily transactions including invoices, payments, and other financial transactions. Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Expense Reports: Assist in the preparation and processing of expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Financial Reporting: Help in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements on a monthly or as-needed basis.
Document Management: Maintain financial records, filing documents correctly and keeping them up to date for auditing purposes.
Communication: Liaise with other departments to verify transaction records, resolve discrepancies, and provide necessary accounting support.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
· 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related area.
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
