Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator/Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role will provide vital support to the Human Resources and Accounting departments by managing administrative tasks and ensuring seamless operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support:
Maintain and update employee files and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Handle employment verifications and assist with child support/garnishment deductions.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, hours paid, and other HR-related matters.
Accounting Assistance:
Complete and submit credit applications for vendors.
Assist with processing accounts payable, including verifying invoices.
Manage inter-office mail distribution and ensure timely communication with field office.
Administrative Tasks:
Order and manage office supplies to maintain an efficient workplace.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
Provide ongoing support to field offices by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in HR, accounting, or business administration is a plus.
Previous experience in a corporate office setting, with exposure to HR and accounting tasks preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
