Description

We are searching for a skilled Accounting Clerk. In this position, you will play a crucial role in compiling, verifying, and maintaining financial and accounting records for our company. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and have a keen understanding of both full-cycle accounting and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic bookkeeping duties including recording, posting data, and ensuring accuracy in general ledgers and other financial reports.

Update, maintain, and analyse accounting records.

Process bills, checks, receipts, and other documents for all business transactions.

Reconcile bank statements and conduct bank deposits.

Understand and apply financial policies, rules, and regulations to all work so as to ensure compliance with applicable standards and corporate policies.

Process payrolls, prepare tax filings, and manage benefit packages.

Assist in the management of budgets and financial forecasts.

Assist in preparation of financial reports for legal bodies and tax authorities.

Respond to requests for information from internal stakeholders and external clients.

Perform administrative tasks and other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is preferred.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.

Ability to work effectively with both numbers and people.

Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive financial information in a confidential manner.

Must be a motivated self-starter capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
