Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the transport industry, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves handling a large volume of emails, extracting data, and maintaining a detailed record of the same. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a keen eye for detail are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Process and extract data from a high volume of emails daily

• Identify and note PDF files that already exist in the internal database

• Maintain a detailed Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of the data not present in the system

• Conduct thorough research to ensure all information is accurate and up to date

• Utilize Microsoft Excel skills to efficiently organize and manage data

• Adhere to accounting functions and principles in data handling

• Respond to any inquiries or issues related to the data processed

• Monitor and update the internal database regularly

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry tasks with a keen attention to detail

• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and functions

• Relevant experience in a similar role in the transport industry would be advantageous

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new accounting tools and software

• A relevant degree or certification in Accounting or a related field would be beneficial.
