Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Clerk to work in the Government industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity based in the Golden, Colorado area. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Work with Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Post financial figures to journals and ledgers

　　Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Remedy discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Work with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit

　　Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

　　Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources Requirements - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required

　　Excellent data entry skills

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

　　Code Invoices experience preferred

　　Strong familiarity with e-Filing

　　Court Filings experience

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
