Description

　　Robert Half is looking to fill an Accounting Specialist role for an industry leading company. Candidate must have the ability to perform duties such as, matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). You will work with a dynamic team in a great work space/office and have excellent benefits and great career advancement opportunity. The Accounting Clerk position is a permanent opportunity and is situated in the Oakdale, Minnesota, area.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Code documents using the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports

　　Post financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable

　　Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

　　Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

　　Requirements - Well-founded grasp of communication

　　Deep understanding of Invoice

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

　　Deposits experience

　　Experience with Accounting Software Systems

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

　　Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

　　Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

　　2+ years of accounting experience required

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical

　　Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
