Description
We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in HONOLULU, Hawaii. This role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks such as processing billing and invoices, reconciling transactions, and vendor management. Responsibilities
• Oversee daily processing of billing and invoices to ensure accurate records.
• Carry out reconciliation of transactions in the financial system.
• Handle the maintenance of vendor files.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
• Assist in the preparation for both month-end and year-end closings.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records.
• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts for appropriate action.
Requirements
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable experience in handling Billing processes
• Capability to perform Invoice reconciliation effectively
• Experience in executing Month End Close and Year End Closings
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
• Prior experience in a Manufacturing industry environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively
• Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Must adhere to confidentiality and data protection procedures.
