About Accountant/Bookkeeper

  100% onsite in Kirkland, WA

  Description:

  Assist with tax projects (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) and provide support.

  Prepare or assist clients with year-end transactions and trial balance preparation.

  Work with numerous clients and internal bookkeepers.

  Communicate with clients regarding service engagements.

  Work closely with the Partner Group and senior staff members.

  QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) setup, training and troubleshooting.

  Consult and implement advanced and innovative accounting processes and technology.

  Payroll return review or preparation, reporting, set-up and filing obligations.

  Identify and implement improvements for clients’ business and accounting processes.

  Review or prepare annual year-end reporting forms, including 1099s and W-2s.

  Review or prepare State and local B&O/Excise/Use Tax filings.

  Review or prepare annual Personal Property Listings.

  Special projects as assigned.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  Recent public accounting experienced highly preferred.

  Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

  Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, payroll and Microsoft Excel.

  Ability to prioritize workflow, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  Great communicator, extremely detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to work independently.
