Accountant & Student Accounts Manager

　　Northwestern College has an opening for a full-time accountant/student accounts manager beginning as early as February 12. This salaried position will report to the comptroller and is responsible for managing student account and billing operations for 1,500+ students, implementing and executing electronic payments, managing cash receipts and preparing bank deposits, and supervising student workers.

　　The successful candidate will have:

　　A minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting or business administration. In lieu of a degree, significant work experience will be considered.

　　Experience in delivering excellent customer service with a demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and exercise independent judgment.

　　Excellent communication and organizational skills

　　Proficiency in Excel and Word

　　Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

　　Ability to work collaboratively with different departments

　　Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing accounts receivable and knowledge of higher education operating systems.
