Robert Half is looking for an Accountant III with previous experience to fill an open position at a respected Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company. Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Crucial components of the role include analytical skills and an ability to handle a challenging, fast-paced work culture. This Senior Accountant role is located in Omaha, Nebraska within the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance field. Your responsibilities in this role
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA, MBA credentials are preferred
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Skilled at time management
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Solid understanding of Financial Statement
Deep understanding of Audit Findings
SAP/QB experience preferred
