Description

We are in search of an Accountant to join our team in Owosso, Michigan. As an Accountant, your main role will be to manage and oversee various aspects of our financial operations. This includes, but is not limited to, coding, filing, auditing, and general ledger work. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Assist in conducting audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records

• Assist in the implementation and training of new software systems

• Collaborate with a small team to ensure all financial operations are efficiently executed

• Perform general ledger (GL) work and maintain balance sheet accounts

• Help the controller in various financial tasks

• Use Excel and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to perform accounting functions

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Cl Programming in daily tasks

• Employ skills in Concur and other accounting tools in executing duties.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Cl Programming

• Experience with Concur

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prior experience in Auditing

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
