About Accountant

Description:

• Provide financial statements quarterly with accuracy and legal compliance

• Organize and update financial records

• Prepare documentation for external auditors

• Manage payroll functions, financial statements, accounts payable, basic job cost, account analysis, accruals, year-end audits

• Manage and monitor accounting procedures for compliance

• Provide support for the controller with period-end close accruals and journal entries and assist in various duties and responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate various financial and operational business controls and GAAP

• Reconcile complex general ledgers accounts, verifying accurate GL balances and ensuring proper and relevant support documentation

• Perform month end closing duties

• Compile AR and sales reports

• Identify and maintain fixed assets

Qualifications:

-ERP software experince (SAP is a plus)

-Must have 2-3+ years of general accounting experince in a corporate environment (JE, month end, reconciliations, GL, etc.)

-Must have sales use tax experince

-Must have treasury management experince

-Must have experince dealing with cash (reconciliation of cash, clearing cash daily, applying payments)

-Must have Accounting Degree

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
