Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct reconciliations of ITMs, including ITM check deposits, ensuring alignment with activity and settlements to the GL. Provide support and backup for researching and resolving discrepancies.
Perform daily balancing of Remote Capture and Sharedraft Recon.
Account for and reconcile daily credit card activity, and manage the incorporation of new products into financial records.
Prepare month-end General Ledger reconciliations as assigned.
Record and manage student loan activity.
Post and balance Debit Card wire transactions.
Oversee the preparation of monthly branch financials, including generating monthly budget comparison reports for each department. Respond to manager inquiries regarding reports. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and board reports, such as Lending Report, Investment Report, Fee Income Report, and New Loan Report.
Complete daily reconciliations of deposits and ACH. Ensure monthly balancing of the Alloya Statement, addressing ACH, Deposits, Corporate Checking, Member Sharedrafts, wire transfers, and investments. Act as a liaison with Alloya Corporate for resolving reconciling items. Daily reconciliation of the federal reserve account.
Reconcile various General Ledger accounts at month-end, adhering to standard accounting procedures. Oversee daily accounting balancing. Keep the Accounting Manager informed of any unusual departmental, member, or operational issues and recommend possible solutions. Exercise judgment in upward communication. Review and recommend procedure and process improvements when necessary.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, with at least 2 years of related experience.
High proficiency in Excel is essential.
Working knowledge of Word/Outlook.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
