  Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive direct and indirect revenue growth and sales targets within the assigned accounts and geographic territory

  • Establish relationships with key customer engineering and commercial contacts and decision makers within customer base

  • Leverage assigned Field Application Engineering resources to help demonstrate and articulate TE Sensors value proposition (device specific and organizationally) to customer base

  • Identify and close new business opportunities directly with OEM customers and/or by leveraging TE Distribution Partners

  • Interface with customer engineers and communicate effectively back to the Product Marketing and development teams the specific electrical and mechanical features that customers require in new devices.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams within our organization, including customer care, product marketing, engineering, and technical teams to ensure a unified approach to serving customers in the assigned territory.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team, including customer demand forecasts, bookings forecasts, billings forecasts, new opportunity creation forecasts and design win forecasts.

  • Support distribution market managers (DMMs) to drive mindshare and promotion of TES products among distributor teams. Promotion includes technical engineering training to distribution engineers.

  • Achieve a solid understanding of TES product portfolio and new product launch roadmap.

  Key Goals & Objectives/Measurements:

  • TES BU product direct and indirect (POS) revenue growth within the assigned regional territory.

  • Growth of Opportunity Pipeline in Assigned Territory through New Qualified Business Opportunity (NQBO) creation and Design Win (DWIN) conversion.

  • Advancing and closing key new business opportunities (Conversion Rate).

  What your background should look like:

  • Bachelors Degree (Electrical and or Mechanical Engineering preferred)

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in technical sales engineering role

  • History of revenue and customer growth

  • Network of customer relationships within assigned territory

  • Experience working with TE Distribution Partner network in territory

  • Proficiency with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerBI and CRMs (Salesforce, MS Dynamics or other)

  • Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time into customers within the territory

  COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $151,272- $226,908 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
