  The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing and growing revenue within an assigned geographic area. They will focus primarily on growth opportunities with existing partners to achieve revenue goals established for all product lines. This expectation includes identifying key territorial partners while seeking higher revenue generating opportunities across partners in the region. The AM will work collaboratively with the ed2go Business Development, Workforce, and Marketing teams (and other internal partners as needed). The successful candidate will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish and build working relationships. They must be coachable with an ability to understand business needs and provide viable solutions to reach targeted goals.

  This role is remote but preference will be given to candidates in the eastern or central time zone which is aligned with the greatest level of partner cover

  What you'll do here:

  Daily partner support, responding to new sales leads and existing partner requests and inquiries pertaining to programs, products, & account development.

  Informs Product Management and Marketing of identified market needs and trends.

  Reporting, Salesforce data entry and integrity, accurate revenue forecasts. Update CRM database to ensure accurate opportunity and account contact information.

  Work with local partners and workforce boards to get ed2go programs approved at a state level for workforce initiative reimbursement.

  Collaborate, strategize, and work with business development managers to target and exceed regional sales revenue goals and management objectives.

  Use analytical skills to become a territorial authority: understand partner needs, identify opportunities for growth, and effectively connect partners with local workforce boards and other funding sources.

  Develop an account management plan for the region, to drive interactions / frequency of contact with key partners. Review plan periodically with department leadership.

  Hold frequent partner business reviews to increase territory revenue performance.

  Identify grant opportunities and work with channel partners to insure ed2go programs are utilized within those grants.

  Exceed regional revenue goals.

  Monitor market trends and needs in vocational, professional and personal development education and training.

  Manage existing account base and, in consultation with territory Sr. Account Manager, solicit new partner accounts.

  Work independently, set goals, and monitor progress of goals.

  Travel to key accounts and attend national conferences on occasion as required.

  Skills you will need here:

  BA or BS degree

  A minimum of 4 years of inside business to business (B2B) sales experience

  2 years of channel sales marketing experience

  Proven track record of territorial development and growth

  Self-starter, team player, critical thinker, can do attitude

  Strong telephone, written and verbal communication skills

  Excellent time management and organizational skills

  Above average digital literacy – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce

  Online research experience and proficiency

  Desired

  Experience in online education

  Experience in the Professional, Continuing, or Online Education

  Prior experience in B2B marketing is a plus!

  Base Pay Range

  The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

  $20.25 - $32.75 USD
