  Your Focus

  As Account Manager, you will be the contact point for our Pharma Solutions key accounts and channel partners in Japan.

  You will plan and manage the key accounts, distributors and be responsible for:

  Developing business plans and initiatives, execute to grow sales in key accounts and market for Pharma Solutions products in Japan.

  Maintain strong relationship with key accounts and distributors.

  Develop business opportunities and maintain project pipeline in key accounts.

  Develop business opportunities in pharma and dietary supplement market.

  Focus on meeting budget requirements and profitable sales targets.

  New business development, building and maintaining customer relationships.

  Optimizing sales channels and resolving customer problems.

  This position is Japan based and will report to the Pharma Sales Leader, APAC and receive guidance from the Regional Industry leaders.

  How you will Contribute

  Maintain strong relationship with key accounts and distributors for Pharma Solutions in Japan.

  Manage key accounts and execute growth opportunities to meet sales budget requirement annually.

  Develop and execute key account plans, negotiate contracts to meet sales targets and drive profitable growth for key accounts.

  Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales for key accounts and search for new opportunities in dietary supplement market.

  Coordinate and interface between customer and other company resources (Global Key Account Manager, Technical, Supply Chain) to provide value added service to accounts.

  Develop sales presentations, call plans, proposals, reports for internal and external communication.

  Obtain and communicate market information related to key accounts and competitive practices, assist in assessment of competitive information for key accounts.

  Prepare sales order forecasts and budget planning for key accounts.

  Job Requirements

  What you will need to be successful

  Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Nutraceutical or any related discipline.

  Solid pharma or dietary supplement industry sales or account management experience of at least 8 years.

  Proven track record of sales management portfolio from fine chemicals industry for pharmaceutical or dietary supplement application or related products.

  High drive with execution excellence to make possibilities happen and big appetite for success.

  Good commercial and technical acumen that enables identification of technical and commercial needs, and proposal of optimized solution.

  Ability to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including Owners or Senior Management and Operational level.

  Ability to organize promotional events and take initiative to involve key stakeholders.

  Experience with engagement of key accounts and distributor management.

  Existing network and expertise in Japan pharma Industry preferred.

  Proven value selling and negotiation skills, results oriented.

  Resilient to setbacks and strong drive for impact, effective listening skills.

  Strong interpersonal skills, networking ability and team player.

  Familiarity with SAP, SFDC and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

  Self-driven, positive mindset with proven ability to work and manage time and priorities.

  International in outlook, but with strong cultural affinity for Japan market.

  Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation skills.

  Good English skills (TOEIC 700 or higher is preferred), fluency in English and Japanese language.

  Willingness to travel domestically and regionally.
