Honeywell First Responder (Morning Pride) is searching for Account Manager II to join our team. We are a long-time player in protecting Fire Fighters on the job. We are focused on protecting Fire Fighters when they are in the most difficult situations. Whether that is in a burning building, on the side of the road or helping an average citizen in their time of crisis. In short, Honeywell First Responders enables Fire Fighters everywhere the protection needed to perform their jobs and return home safely.
As a member of the HFR sales team, you will be helping build our business with existing end customers and distribution partners in your assigned territory. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key fire departments and distributors. As our face to the customer, you are key to discovering new customer needs and opportunities that drive increased revenue. This Account Manager II will cover the New England Area (CT, MA, VT, RI, ME).
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, develop, and mature opportunities to increase market share of assigned area
Manage existing book of business to meet or exceed sales goals of assigned area
Deliver sales presentation to customers at varying levels of the organization (i.e. Union boards, City Council, Fire Chefs)
Ability to navigate complex city/state government contracts with knowledge of government spending cycles
Manage Momentum through the sales cycle
50-75% travel within region working with local fire departments and distributors
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
2 Years’ experience in sales/account management

Fire garment/equipment sales selling to fire departments of varying size (Large Metro/Volunteer Departments)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
