About Account Manager

  JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Account Manager directs business efforts atspecified Accounts and/or Strategic Markets.Specific markets may includeSurgical Hand Tools, Industrial Hand Tools, Medical pumps, andRespirators. Identified accounts may include those purchasing or withopportunity for the Portescap family of products. The Account Managercreates and implements sales and marketing strategies that will resultin an increase in Portescap product sales and marketpenetration/expansion within the designated accounts and/or markets.What You\'ll do: Manage the complex selling process, consisting ofengagement at all levels of a prospect organization, from engineering &technical teams to senior management. This includes understanding whenand why to engage at the various levels within such accounts Responsiblefor calling on existing and new accounts to include: presentation of newproducts, current account summaries, negotiation on price structure andcontracts Maintain and grow market share at existing accountsResponsible for increasing market penetration at defined accounts anddevelop / grow new business Complete VOC for marketing and new productdevelopment Interface on a technical level with customers to assistbetween engineering departments Work closely with Marketing to introducenew product lines to customers Perform strategic market analysis and goto market strategy for key accounts. Market analysis should includecomplete market map, review of business climate in region, and key focusareas for successful growth rates of over 20% Develop a growth strategyand executing various initiatives to win in key accounts. Build ourdesign win funnel and to move new opportunities through successful andtimely prototype \"wins\" and through product qualification Leadinitiatives to better understand market needs and competitive landscape,identify key customers and contacts, and assimilate VOC required tocreate product road maps for Portescap to grow in the region CriticalCompetencies Must be able to develop relationships at all levels Must beable to work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams Strong oraland written communication skills Ability to set and achieve goals Strongplanning and organization skills Strong computer skills are requiredincluding proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Outlook,Word, Excel) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must beable to manage a flexible schedule Negotiation skills/relationshipmanagement Strategic planning, and tactical implementation of strategyAbility to comprehend written contracts Customer contact & managementskills Pricing (strategic pricing planning & tactical deployment)Adaptability to change Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor\'sdegree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related...
