  Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Account Executive. The Account Executive will provide a high level of customer service to the client, responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating staff. The Account Executive will also build, improve, and maintain relationships with clients and employees, develop and retain staff, and coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. The Account Executive also performs site inspections to ensure cleanliness and sell additional services as needed.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Supervise the day-to-day janitorial operations of an assigned territory

  Manage a team of day staff, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support

  Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property

  Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees

  Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service

  Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met

  Assure regular communication of issues with Client

  Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately

  Communicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates

  Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)

  Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)

  Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists

  Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meets with regularly, listen to issues, provides security and technical expertise and solutions; ensure complete customer satisfaction

  Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, invoice Aging by tiers; Training Summary and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effective business management

  Daily interaction with the client - answer phone calls, respond to emails, and visit customer sites

  Perform building inspections to ensure cleanliness, client satisfaction, and adherence to contract specifications

  Communicate cleaning issues and inspection results to the Operations Managers and follow up on results

  Sell additional services to existing clients

  Perform associated administrative work - creation and revision of invoices and ensure that invoices have been paid

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  Must possess one or more of the following:

  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study

  Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study with a minimum of two (2) years of project management experience

  High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of project management experience

  Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial service, building/facilities maintenance, or related service industry experience

  Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or sales experience

  Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff

  Effective oral and verbal communication skills

  Ability to develop and grow customer relationships

  Microsoft Office proficient

  Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently

  Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis

  Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  Ability to speak, read, and write the Spanish language

  Previous payroll, billing, and scheduling experience

  BENEFITS:

  Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days

  Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
