Job Description
ManTech is seeking a well-rounded mature and confident professional Access Control Specialist (Front Desk Security) to join our MCIA team supporting our growing Marine Corps programs at Quantico, VA.
In this role the successful candidate will be providing professional, unarmed, security facility operations for discrete lobby-level reception.

This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
General Responsibilities:
• Perform physical security functions and tasks relative to an assigned area in the security technology fields of intrusion detection systems, access control systems, sound masking systems, internal and external closed-circuit television for one or more facilities
• Ensure all SCI indoctrinated individuals are kept apprised of the requirements and guidelines for protecting SCI
• Properly accounts for, controls, transmit, transport packages, safeguards and destroys classified national security information in accordance with applicable directives and policy
• Provide clearance verification, and badge issuance.
• On-site support shall possess a degree of security entry control experience gained from past employment at similar DoD or government controlled/classified facilities
• Maintain DISS, and Scattered Castles as appropriate to accurately reflect all personnel under their cognizance
• Basic computing skills are necessary
• Other duties as required
Mandatory Skills Requirements :
• This position requires an active DoD TS//SCI Clearance (subject to random polygraph inspections)
• Excellent communication and people skills required
• Ability to efficiently handle stressful situations
• Must be familiar with verifying clearances and recognizing possible incidents
• Must be familiar with sending visit requests and perm certs
• Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures
• Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability
• Ability to speak to a group and train local procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and encrypting/digitally signing emails
• Proficient using a fax machine
• Working knowledge of CUI/FOUO/PII and how to safeguard the information when transferring physically and digitally
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external departments and agencies to ensure processes are in place, bottlenecks are minimized, and document routing is streamlined
• Must be flexible to ensure the task is complete and willing to learn new things
• Must be comfortable providing short security presentations and answering questions regarding procedures and requirements in keeping with both Company and Government guidance
• Support classified meetings to include record keeping and dissemination
• Must have front desk phone skills in a professional and efficient manner
• Must be comfortable and adept at handling various tasks while presenting a pleasant and cooperative demeanor to customers and staff
• Compile statistics and metrics information as may be required regarding visitors, requests and classified meetings
• Ensure all electronic equipment and all types of media are identified prior to allowing guests or staff entry in the secure areas
• Scan and register incoming media and equipment
Other Skills Preferred :
• SharePoint use and administration/capabilities with using document libraries, lists, and workflows
• Working knowledge of DoD Secure File Transfer methods such as https://safe.apps.mil
• Intelink/IntelShare capabilities
