　　The University of Chicago\'s Department of Medicine, Section ofCardiology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank inthe area of general and preventive cardiology. Appointees will haveclinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, reading EKGs, andinpatient ward and consultative cardiology predominantly at our maincampus and, if needed, at affiliated sites. Appointees will not performor read cardiovascular imaging procedures. Other duties will includeteaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarlyactivity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous packageof fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

　　Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: (1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, (2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the state of Illinois, and (3) be Board Certified orEligible in Cardiology.
