Position: LPN/LVN Psychiatric

　　Pay: $40 - $45 per hour

　　Schedule: Monday - Friday, AM Shift

　　Length: 13 Weeks Minimum

　　ABOUT THE FACILITY

　　The facility is a 16-bed Psychiatric Health Facility in Alameda County for adolescents 12-17 years old who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms. The Centre includes a 23-hour crisis stabilization unit and an acute in-patient psychiatric health facility.

　　This is a short-term program designed to reduce and stabilize acute psychiatric symptoms with an emphasis on working the recovery process as a means of returning to the community.

　　THE ROLE

　　The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Valid LVN License

　　Current BLS certification

　　Preferred previous experience with mental health population and/or understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment.

　　Preferred one year of LVN experience
