ManTech is seeking a 3D modeling professional to provide drafting support for large complex parts and assemblies. This position will be based in Charleston, SC .
General Responsibilities:
The candidate will create 3D models and produce 2D technical drawings of metal fabrications and systems installations in support of the integration of C4ISR components and systems on United States Marine Corps (USMC) vehicles.
This effort is related to the Systems and Software Engineering and Acquisition Management Support for the Vehicular Technology Transition (VTT) Integrated Products Team (IPT) in support of the Digital Integration Facility (DIF).
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating or modifying solid models and assemblies to maintain configuration management of engineering drawings and alert customer of best practices
Assisting in the development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
Working with engineers and technicians to ensure proper development of engineering analysis.
Education & Experience:
Technical Training in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Business AND Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with C4ISR projects, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas:

Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Business.
OR
Bachelors degree in drafting or illustration and two (2) years of experience in the electronics field, to include: computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD, planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items. Experience with DoD processes and procedures. Five (5) years of experience with a high school diploma/GED.Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge in creating and 2D drawings ( Threshold ) and 3D models ( Objective ) of singular components to complex multi-part assemblies: Cable assemblies, sheet metal design & complex welded assemblies.
Knowledge of Solidworks, Windchill utilizing PDMLink.
Heavy User of AutoCAD ( Threshold ), CREO (Threshold), Solidworks (Threshold), and Windchill ( Objective ).
Excellent comprehension and experience with the creation of Technical Data Packages and associated standards such as MIL-STD-31000 and ASME Y14.100.
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
Knowledge of configuration management practices including developing engineering change notices, modifying, and/or updating engineering Bills of Materials (BOM), and creating problem reports.
Experience in maintaining CAD based bills of material for entire vehicle systems with numerous complex variants.
Experience with using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Active DoD Secret Security clearance highly desired/preferred.
