The 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising Dayton Children’s 21st Century Community Learning Center program at Kiser Neighborhood Schools Center. The individual in this position is responsible for the implementation of the program with fidelity to the original 21st Century grant and any subsequent revisions. This position works to coordinate the program with Dayton Public Schools, Dayton Children’s Hospital, and partner organizations. The candidate must also ensure that the program is consistent with the rules, regulations, and recommendations of the Ohio Department of Education and ensures needed data is collected for a local independent evaluation, state, and federal evaluation. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality interactive, dynamic, and fun learning that reinforces the classroom day instruction, addressing gaps and building upon strengths. This role supervises the part-time teaching and academic enrichment staff in the after-school program. This position also ensures prior assessments and benchmark tests provide the data, which drives instruction for students and the class in aggregate. The position also oversees the implementation of youth development and family engagement activities. Consistent with policies and procedures, and when appropriate, licensure, this position will coordinate compliance with health, safety, and learning requirements.
