  Job Description:

  General Summary:

  The Intern, under direction from the discipline Manager and/or project engineer, applies CAD/Revit skills and design knowledge in generating engineering design documents, digital models and databases.

  Essential Job Functions:

  Create engineering documents using Autodesk Revit Structural or AutoCAD software.

  Work closely with engineers during design and/or construction phase of a project to develop an understanding of software analysis and document production necessary for a building structure.

  Provide limited design on documents with direction from engineers.

  Reproduce documents upon request.

  Perform related duties as assigned.

  Employment Qualifications:

  Education:

  Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline at an accredited university. Students should have completed at least (2) years of classes.Experience:

  Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus.Skills/Competencies:

  Proficiency in design software applications (Revit, AutoCAD)

  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  Capable of taking initiative; able to take direction.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
