　　The Intern, Hedge Advisory and Analytics will work with colleagues to run analytics while contributing to the development, training, testing and maintenance of analytics models and related data systems. You will be focused on integrating analytics across departments with a concentration on mortgage cash flow modeling. You will analyze mortgage prepayment and credit risk to forecast cash flows of mortgage related assets and model characteristics of borrower behavior. In this role you will utilize machine learning models across large data sets. Ideal candidates will have some background in statistical modeling functions and implications thereof, and some coding experience to write queries, transform large datasets, and create ad hoc analysis to support the team’s operations.

　　This is a full-time internship taking place from June 3rd-August 9th.

　　Essential Job Functions:

　　Works with colleagues to produce analyses

　　Contributes to the development and maintenance of models to align with industry best practices and changing needs

　　Interfaces with colleagues across multiple teams to explain methodologies and support integration with a high degree of competency and integrity

　　Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

　　Qualifications/ Requirements:

　　Progress towards Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or other related field

　　Understanding of modeling practices, machine learning and/or computer simulations

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills required

　　Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, C++ and/or Rust

　　Knowledge of statistical techniques such as principal component analysis

　　Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch or other accelerated machine learning package

　　The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($22.50/hour - $). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.

　　The hourly rate for our undergraduate interns is anticipated to be $22.50/hour. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a revise of relevant education, experience, training, skills, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. All full-time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including 401K, medical, dental, visions, life, and disability insurance, in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
