　　Applied Materials’ Ion Implantation Business Unit is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! Our group works on developing plasma processing tools in the area of ion implantation, dry etch, deposition and material modification. The position will entail the following:

　　Performnumerical investigations of elements of semiconductor processing tools using commercial and in-house software

　　Analyze obtained results, draw scientific conclusions and present at internal meetings

　　Lead small design projects involving plasma source and ion optics optimization

　　Requirements

　　Student must be pursuing a Master's or Doctorate program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field

　　Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

　　Experience in plasma physics or semiconductor processing preferred

　　Quick learner

　　$36 - $46 per hour
