Position Summary
Janitor 1 will have janitorial duties as well as operation and special events responsibilities. Working with the housekeeper, the Operation Specialist will ensure that Lilly’s Place is a clean and safe environment for residents and their families.
Essential Functions
Janitorial:
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
Spot clean carpets when necessary.
Strip, buff, and wax and/or shampoo and vacuum the first, second, and third floors, and kitchen/dining room area as needed.
Store and maintain cleaning equipment.
Maintain playgrounds, front and back of property.
Wash property fencing and railing on a regular rotation.
Report any inappropriate behavior on the grounds to the Program Manager and Facility Coordinator.
Clean all restrooms-Detail as needed.
Light housekeeping client’s rooms.
Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
Assist front desk when needed.
Operation:
Pick up, deliver, and store supplies as needed.
Maintain garage clean of clutter free, neat.
Organize and maintain all assigned storage areas.
Maintain the vehicles, fill up gas tanks, report repairs as needed.
Assist all departments in transportation as needed.
Special Events:
Assist on special events, community events, classes, and meetings in setting up and breaking down.
Perform other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management personnel.

Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping and grounds maintenance. Knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals as complying with Cal/OSHA regulations.
