Job Description Operates and maintains allprocess waste equipment including: providing technical services withdiversified procedures and specialized standards in hazardous materialsand wastes Ensure that treated effluents meet all applicable safetylevels before discharge Conduct Adhesive Polymerizations Controlequipment and product by computer Monitor and control the reactor,prepare holding tank Know location of quench controls Make PVA and Mixdefoamer Transfer adhesives into tanks, take samples of adhesivesPrepare toes and fill with glue Rinse lines and clean reactor, clean outdrum and tote lines Take sample of adhesives and extract from top oftanks for lab. Weigh totes and store in chemical holding area Labeltotes with Batch #, tote ID andWeight Put empty monomer barrels in trucktrailer Unload chemical deliveries with fork truck Manage adhesiveinventory and process of raw material inventory Back-upcompounding/waste water functions Qualifications Requires a thoroughknowledge of equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and acorresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust theequipment Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and inaddition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting thequality and timeliness of the service or product or function Mayinstruct junior level operators how to complete the required correctiveadjustment Additional Information All your information will be keptconfidential according to EEO guidelines.
