Alight is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Vulnerability Management Infrastructure Testing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing Tenable VM, a leading vulnerability management solution, to assess, analyze, and mitigate security risks within our organization. You will work closely with Security peers, IT, and business groups to assist in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of vulnerability and configuration risk data. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, hands-on experience with Tenable VM or other enterprise scanning solutions, and the ability to proactively identify and address vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Vulnerability Scanning/Assessment:

　　Conduct regular vulnerability scans using Tenable VM to identify security weaknesses in our systems, networks, and applications.

　　Analyze scan results to prioritize and categorize vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact.

　　Risk Analysis and Mitigation:

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the business impact of identified vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

　　Partner with system administrators and IT teams to implement security patches and remediation measures.

　　Tenable VM Configuration and Management:

　　Configure and manage Tenable VM to ensure optimal performance and coverage of our IT environment.

　　Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of Tenable VM and leverage them to enhance vulnerability detection and management.

　　Troubleshoot scan issues causing customer impacts.

　　Penetration Testing:

　　Partner with our 3rd party vendor to conduct penetration testing exercises to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.

　　Document and report findings, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.

　　Reporting and Documentation:

　　Generate comprehensive reports on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing results for various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

　　Maintain detailed documentation of vulnerability management processes, procedures, and findings.

　　Incident Response:

　　Provide support in incident response activities, particularly in analyzing and mitigating vulnerabilities related to security incidents.

　　Desired:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

　　2 plus years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or a related role.

　　Proven experience in vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security assessments.

　　Strong proficiency in using Tenable VM and other related security tools.

　　In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.

　　Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

　　Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
