　　The Supply Chain team are responsible to bringing billions of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world. Our aim is deliver these products at an affordable cost and of the highest quality.

　　About the role

　　As VP, Operational Excellence you will be responsible for developing strategies and innovative solutions using best-in-class industry and digital practices to advance the BD Excellence management system. You will focus on accelerating and optimizing performance as well as driving standardization to improve value creation across Integrated Supply Chain global footprint. You will also drive lean management adoption across the enterprise. The key activities of the role are to assess, plan and implement all elements of transformational performance to improve year-on-year efficiency, cost leadership and operational excellence.

　　Main responsibilities will include:

　　Leading Operational Excellence strategy, driving a culture of continuous improvement and "zero loss mindset"Supporting leadership team in creating strategic vision of improvement goals and governance process to ensure achievement of Key Performance IndicatorsOwning the "BD Excellence" Operating System - driving a strategic approach to optimize the End-to-End ISC manufacturing and supply chain network making sure key ISC Strategic deliverables are met. Working closely with the SVP of Performance to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.Leading strategy and deployment of kaizen events including ShingijutsuOwning process and governance for major ISC initiatives and strategic projects - working closely with Business Units, regions, and other functions to ensure delivery of committed savingsPromoting innovation across the Integrated Supply Chain organization and serving as a change agent to facilitate strategic technological shifts / introductions.Developing future talents and continuous improvement capabilities and supporting the adoption of lean management at the enterprise levelProvides ongoing coaching to accelerate adoption of lean principles.

　　About you

　　We are looking for experienced leader with shown use of manufacturing technology and business process systems resulting in efficiency improvement (i.e. Six Sigma process capability, improved OEE's), proven reducing cost of manufacturing, and identification, sharing, and cross business adoption of applicable technology innovation.

　　Your other attributes include:

　　In-depth knowledge of Lean methodology, CI tools and concepts. Experience leading a lean / continuous improvement transformationStrong leadership - proven track record to effectively empower teams, influence across a matrix and drive collaboration.Global experience in the design, development, and commercialization of complex high-speed automation and discrete manufacturing systemsDetailed knowledge of cost systems, quality systems, management principles and practices, manufacturing equipment and processes, and new product development processes.Knowledge of regulatory framework for Medical Devices, federal, state, or local mandates including, but not limited to, FDA, OSHA, EPA, SFDA, etc.Project Management Experience

　　Master's degree in EngineeringCertifications: Six Sigma, Lean and / or Design for Six SigmaExperience in medical device manufacturing
