VCA Southeast Portland Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to become part of our Hospital Leadership as the Veterinary Technician Supervisor!

In the Veterinary Technician Supervisor Role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Directing workflow on the floor
Cultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital culture
Work cohesively with hospital management to aid in the progression of the hospital
Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Conduct staff meetings
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Mentoring technicians and assistants within the hospital
Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
Refining and implementing protocols
Ensure that all members of the technical staff implement VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT
5 + years of clinical experience
Passion for Veterinary Medicine and mentoring Veterinary Technicians
Schedule: Full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling, 4 x 10 hour or 5 x 8 hour shifts.
Compensation: $ 33- 37 / hour + up to $5000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
