Ultrasonographer - Diagnostic Services
MUST: Sonography education, training, and experience in the specialtyarea(s) to be performed. Ultrasound experience in general (breast,vascular, and obstetrics imaging). Demonstrated competence in thespecialty area(s) to be performed.American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (AART), and/or CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) required.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentationactivities and report generation required.Ability to perform other duties is a plus (CT, MRI, Gen Rad, etc.)Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients.Preferably 1 year of professional work experience in performing ultrasoundimaging studies. Must be comfortable working independently.

DUTIES: Performs quality ultrasound examinations. Knowledge ofanatomy and physiology sufficient to be able to position and monitor patientsand obtain appropriate images. Skills in interpreting and applying writtenguidelines, precedents, and work practices to standardized work situationsor specific cases. Skill in using ultrasound equipment. Understands and canreasonably troubleshoot all necessary equipment and ensures notification ofappropriate personnel when problems occur. Skill in establishing andmaintaining effective relationships with other employees. Ensures theintegrity of data for clinic elements, demographics, billing informationfor physician reports. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
PAY: $30.00 - $39.92 per/hour PAID EVERY TWO WEEKS
