Job Summary:
Work as part of a System Validation team to transform legacy, document-based systems engineering processes for Verification and Validation, including Assembly, Instrumentation, and Test planning and design, into a Model-Based systems approach for Military Engine Program(s). The PSCV (Product Safety Certification Validation) Program Digital Lead will drive implementation of the MBSE Test System Model and serve as the focal delivering to the program’s overall digital needs, to deliver the optimal PSCV/Development Operations digital deployment plan to the System Integration Product Team (SIPT) / Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT) and military customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure program digital deliverables and milestones are met.
Develop the PSCV Digital Roadmap and communicate deployment plans to the SIPT and IPMT
Plan and lead the implementation of PSCV/DO digital applications and processes on the program.
Collaborate with design and validation engineers to capture all critical system functions and key inputs/outputs in the Test System Model to enable robust test planning and execution.
Ensure Systems and Component Teams are informed of pertinent changes and improvements in the Validation & Verification processes due to enabled by digital tools, and appropriate training is provided to the users.
Leverage learning to support other programs as needed and help establish MBSE discipline processes and standards for PSCV.
Test System Modeler – Apply the newly developed Test System Model in Cameo to new Military Engine Programs. Work with Model Based Systems Engineering discipline team to deploy the Cameo SysML model for V&V processes on the program to serve as the Authoritative Source of Truth for Validation Planning and System Integration activities.
Maintain, update, and improve the System Model as more features become available, to maximize the benefits of MBSE and the Collaborative Digital Environment
Support implementation and connection between Cameo and other digital applications to enable efficient, automated processes that deliver engineering value.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
10+ years of experience in Engineering or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Aero, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
5+ years engineering experience in aerospace
Experience with Verification, Validation, or Testing
Experience with Cameo SysML or equivalent

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
