   RESPONSIBILITIES

  Foster a collaborative working environment.Oversee day-to-day operations of the tax team to ensure regulatory compliance.Ensure all weekly payroll tax processes are complete for weekly sign off.Provide guidance and collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues.Monitor team performance and report on metricsDiscover team training needs and provide coaching and training when needed.Work closely with manager on special projects and report on progress

  Payroll tax test execution experience, familiarity and ability to navigate throughout Workday.Lead special projects and initiate process improvements for team.Monitor workday regulatory and company level configuration updates.Manage quarterly processes and sign off with ADP.Ensure team process guides and desktop procedures are updated on a regular basis.Workday end to end payroll processing. Workday reporting familiarity, payroll controls/validationsBalancing weekly, quarterly and annual tax jurisdiction, processing and filingsAuditing payroll processing resultsEnsure yearend processes are complete to include W2 and jurisdiction balancing.Monitor the creation of W2-c's and the amendment process between multiple teams.Analyze issues to provide direction to resolve difficult issues. Moving money when needed between jurisdictions at the employee level.Maintaining logs/recordsResearching inquiriesData entry skill within WorkdayADP SmartCompliance monitoring and duties.Completion of ad hoc projects and tasks, as required.Setting up, updating or closing tax jurisdictionsResponding to HR or employee inquiries on the HR Central portal

  REQUIREMENTS

  7 to 10 years' payroll tax experienceUS Payroll regulatory compliance experience within all 50 states and localsExperience with depth tax research and providing system requirements.Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisorKnowledge of performance metricsExcellent Excel skillsExcellent communication and leadership skillsOrganizational and time-management skillsDecision-making and negotiation skillsAttention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Systems experience, preferably Workday and ADP SmartComplianceGood verbal and written communication skillsProven payroll Tax experiencePayroll or Accounting Qualification is desirable but not required.

  EDUCATION

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent education.

  Pay Range: $49,920 - 95,000 annual salary

  Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Commissions, and Company bonus where applicable.
