Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a IT Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer with experience in hybrid Azure, Entra, M365, servers, VMware, Windows, etc. If this sounds like your background, then this IT Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer role is for you. Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, C or CTH or FTE

Responsibilities:

Provide second-level support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to servers, storage systems, and enterprise applications

Administer and support cloud environments, including Azure, ensuring efficient operation and resolving any issues

Implement, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and related systems

Manage and monitor backups, disaster recovery operations, and ensure business continuity

Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure network security

Collaborate with Tier 1 support to resolve escalated issues, providing guidance and mentorship

Work closely with clients to understand their systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, processes, and service records

Participate in the planning and deployment of new projects and systems integrations

Requirements

Customer Support, Advanced Troubleshooting

Managing System Issues (Windows-based Applications)

Microsoft 365

Azure Cloud (Hybrid Infrastructure, Entra ID, Making Changes/Troubleshooting)

Understanding difference between Systems and Network

ITSM Experience (ConnectWise preferred)

MSP Background (Preferred)

PowerShell (preferred)

VMware/Hyper-V (preferred)
