Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Building Controls Designer or Engineer with a strong understanding of temperature control/HVAC systems. This person will need to know how to make changes in the building automation system that connects to the controller which will tell the HVAC systems what to do. This engineer should also have a strong understanding of temperature controls hardware like air handling units, HVAC units, VAV boxes, chillers, cooling towers, etc.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-Bachelors and/or Associates degree

　　-Experience making changes to a program or programming a control panel from scratch in order to make sure HVAC equipment is working properly

　　-Ability to read a physical and electronic blueprint/schematic/sequence of HVAC systems

　　-Experience with HVAC systems hardware (understanding the physical systems in a boiler room ex: air handler, chiller, HVAC unit, cooling towers, etc.), installation (knowing how they flow throughout the building and how they are installed properly), and software (ability to use JCI proprietary selection tools and programming tools like Metasys to program the systems) null
