If you want to work on rewarding projects that make a positive impacton our world while still being able to enjoy your life beyond the workplace,come see what makes HDR's employee ownership culture an excellent place toestablish your career!Key responsibilities:Lead the structural design of buildings and civil structures for a variety ofproject types and construction materials and methods.Prepare specifications and production of drawings (in collaboration with BIMdesigners) for construction documents.Serve projects during construction by site visits, reviewing contractorsubmittals to ensure they meet design intent, and addressing constructionissues.Participate in or lead assessments of existing structures.Actively participate in multi-discipline team meetings, design charettes,client review workshops, and construction meetings.#LI-LA1QualificationsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree (ABET accredited) in Civil orArchitectural Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.Current PE or SE license.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering includingconcrete, steel, and masonry design.Experience with International Building Code and referenced standards.Experience in seismic design and high wind regions.Experience with structural analysis, finite element, and BIM software.A commitment to technical excellence and client service with a desire toadvance your career in the field of structural engineering long-term.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong personalorganization skills.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also aboutwhat you do and how you do it.
