As part of the Sonos team, you'll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.Sonos is currently seeking a Contract Manufacturing Manager that is responsible for the overall commercial and operational relationship of our strategic Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that enable Sonos' supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth. You will lead cross-functional efforts such as negotiating commercial agreements, costs and optimizing the collaboration between the teams and CMs ensuring quality, delivery, costs, lead-times and responsiveness objectives are met. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and robust supply chain.Building the world's leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. This role can be done from anywhere in the United States or Canada - any of our offices, or remotely from home. It's about impact, not location."What You'll Do...Exploring, developing and managing 3rd party products and partnerships such as product accessories through ODM models.Develop and lead global sourcing strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment and establishing global scalability.Manage supplier relationships and successfully close complex negotiations including contract negotiations, statements of work, pricing, development and manufacturing support, among other termsDraft and negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirementsNegotiate MVA, NRE and CaPEx costs to ensure best-in-class cost for our products (total landed costs)Actively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve itInfluence CM's manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in beneficial and sustainable waysComprehend the technical aspects of production and equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimizationCreate advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to improve supplier performanceEvaluate technical and business risks, analyze based on the data and create mitigation plans/alternativesWorking closely with Finance and Engineering to ensure development budgets are accurate and aligned to business objectivesLead complex engagements on supplier partnerships and strategies with Sonos' senior leadershipCollaborate with cross functional teams throughout development builds, end-to-end costs evaluation, supplier engagements, and all other items associated with executing a successful launchBe able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in parallelWhat You'll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
