Job Summary
Maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
Essential Functions
Create and updates the daily staffing sheets in ANSOS. Covers daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing. Monitors employee call-in's.
Responsible for all staffing changes to be placed in ANSOS. Ensure we are staffed to matrix.
Makes phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
Oversees the daily activities of the staffing office. Provides daily assignments to the staffing secretary.
Enters exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
Assigns Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
Attends meetings, compiles data for reports, assists Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.
Consistently adheres to Corewell Health Customer Service Standards.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of relevant experience Staffing and scheduling experience Preferred
Scheduling Experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system Preferred
