Work Setup: *Remote * Location: *Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines * Summary: The Senior Intercompany Accountant *reports functionally to the Mgr., IC CoE and administratively to the Mgr., Record to Report Manila. They will support the GBS mission to leverage resources on a global scale through the use of shared services to reduce costs, maintain or increase customer service, and build new capabilities. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the end-to-end global intercompany accounting, reporting and related systems, executing month-end intercompany accounting and reporting procedures, serving as subject matter expert for global intercompany accounting, and various tasks and procedures in the areas of intercompany accounting and reporting; transfer pricing condition data maintenance; and others. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Perform intercompany journal entries as per Company policy using Blackline and the Blackline Intercompany Hub (ICH) * Participate in the ongoing maintenance of Blackline ICH to address transaction management, dispute resolution, consistency in calculations, and intercompany settlement * Complete intercompany balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned according to the Company policies and deadlines * Participate in the management of global transfer pricing agreements to drive consistency and compliance in global pricing methodologies * Maintain master data conditions for intercompany transfer pricing and intercompany materials * Participate in the changes and communication of the intercompany business process workstream post the global S/4 go-live * Create as needed documentation and job aids of all intercompany processes and ensure documentation is always current * Serve as a subject matter expert as needed for global intercompany accounting and reporting for Company projects, including acquisitions and divestitures * Perform, meet and respond to Sarbanes-Oxley and both internal and external audit requirements and requests, as necessary * Generate internal and external reporting for intercompany * Respond to team requests and develop team and self through training and development opportunities * Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with relevant business stakeholders * Major Duties/Responsibilities: * Perform Global IC CoE responsibilities (60%)* * Adhere to global intercompany governance structure, policies and procedures * Collect and maintain global transfer pricing agreements * Perform master data maintenance * Execute internal and external reporting for intercompany requests * Complete intercompany reconciliations * Post intercompany journal entries _ Serve as global intercompany contact - SME and support company projects (30%)_ * Acquisitions and divestitures with certain intercompany responsibilities * Participate in the Blackline ICH maintenance * Participate in the changes and communication of the intercompany business process workstream post the global S/4 go-live * Leverage technology to maintain a central repository of intercompany agreements with key stakeholders across the busines _ Perform various intercompany activities (10%)_ * Address the requests of internal and external auditors, including SOX * Understand and keep abreast of advances and improvements in Blackline technology and the IC associated process by interacting with peer companies and user forums * Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:* * Advanced Excel spreadsheet analysis capabilities * Detailed understanding of accounting principles * Problem solving and the ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast-paced working environment * Very effective written and oral communication skills * Strong ability to foster relationships with a diverse group of peers, customers, and suppliers * Flexible and willing to adjust to a changing workload to ensure timely results * Effective self-direction and motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently * Excellent general computer skills, all components of Microsoft Office * Excellent skills in using relevant SAP S/4 functionality and Blackline software * Knowledge of financial accounting and internal control concepts * Demonstrated ability to understand and align international accounting activities with global process standardization objective * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:* * Education: /Bachelor’s Degree required,/ /in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience /(Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification preferred/Masters of Business Administration preferred) * Experience: * Someone with strong change management experience/ (preferably with migration or new systems implementation)/ * Excellent communication skills /(clear and concise communication)/ * Someone with strong confidence and executive presence/ (work closely with foreign teams)/ * Someone with multination company or shared services experience is preferred * Has advanced MS Excel Experience (e.g., Macros, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.) * Knowledgeable with SAP (S4 Hana Experience/Blackline is preferred) * Must have at least 7 years *of overall experience * Must have at least *3 years *of experience in Intercompany Accounting * Strong preference given to candidates with financial data systems reconciliation experience * Strong preference given to candidates with financial data systems optimization and reporting * Strong preference given to candidates with Finance Master Data Management experience * Must be amenable to work on a *mid-shift (3pm to 12 midnight) #LI-AG1
