Janssen Inc. is recruiting for a Healthcare Engagement Compliance Associate, located in Toronto, Ontario.
As a subject matter professional in Healthcare Professional (HCP) value transfer operations, The Healthcare Engagement Compliance Associate (HECA) performs quality assessments of various HCP interactions at Janssen. This fast-paced position focuses on an in-depth understanding of compliance and regulatory environments. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Access teams, this role develops business-enabling strategies and appropriate risk-mitigating solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete quality assessments of Healthcare Professional (HCP) interactions at Janssen Inc. Healthcare interactions include (but not limited to) Advisory Boards, Corporate Sponsorships, Consulting Agreements, Speaker Programs, Steering Committees, and Train the Trainer sessions.
Evaluate HCP interactions against local and global Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and Finance policies and procedures
Handle critical issue and facilitate reviews of complex interactions
Provide consultation, risk mitigation, and prevention strategies for upcoming HCP interactions by collaborating with cross-functional colleagues in various departments.
Support company-wide transition of value transfer system by testing new solutions, aiding in the development of materials, and facilitating training sessions for internal users.
Accurately identify training gaps and provide solutions to optimize process
Prioritize and assign workload to ensure effective review and completion of all requests
Document, raise, and approve deviations from SOP, presenting and collaborating with internal teams to develop corrective action plan
Facilitate contract creation, signature, and payment following approval of HCP Value Transfer activities.
Implement continuous process improvement to increase business efficiency and react to global process changes in a unified manner
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum Bachelors DegreeExperience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum 5years of pharmaceutical experience or other experience within a regulated environment. Experience in compliance is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Project Management and/or Change Management experience in a complex environment
Shown implementation, training, or support of revised compliance requirements or regulations
Ability to influence in a cross-functional environment
Ability to understand and apply processes to various scenarios
Other key skills include attention to detail, being able to work successfully within a team and as an individual, and being able to prioritize tasks.
