We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager/Sales professional to join our team in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the AM&D go-to-market strategy, commercialization, and deployment of the Philips Holter Home Test, a cutting-edge ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics solution. You will be part of the Philips Connected Care Organization and will be the link between other business departments such as Sleep and Respiratory Care and Image Guided Therapy to reach maximum potential out of the Holter market in Japan.
In this role, you will also strongly liaise with the AM&D International team based in Amsterdam to have strategic alignment on commercialization, marketing, annual operating plans, sales incentive plans and clinical evidence generation. This gives you the opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders across cultures. You will work on this together with the AM&D Account Manager based in Japan and form a strong duo together.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, market trends, and potential competitors in the ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics sector in Japan.
Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to the Japanese market, including market segmentation, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
Sales and Business Development:
Build and manage a strong network of key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and distribution channels to expand the reach of the Philips Holter Home Test.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics technology, especially regarding new developments such as AI, Digitalization and Real-time Monitoring.
Provide training and support to sales teams and healthcare professionals, ensuring they have a deep understanding of the product's features and benefits.
Sales Targets and Reporting:
Set clear and achievable sales targets and objectives, both for individual performance and team performance in close alignment with AM&D International Markets team.
Regularly monitor and report on sales progress, market trends, and competitor activities.
Develop and present sales forecasts and budgets to the senior management team.
Customer Support:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with the customer support team to maintain excellent post-sales relationships.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all sales activities and marketing materials comply with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards in Japan.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development and sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Strong understanding of the Japanese healthcare market, including regulatory and reimbursement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Connector: able to manage a diverse set of stakeholders (internally and externally) across cultures.
Entrepreneur: have an agile and start-up mindset to bring innovation to the market and scale successfully.
Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Willingness to travel across Japan territories.
