  About the Role:

  Grade Level (for internal use):

  09

  Knowledge:

  Reviews and quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions.

  Produce reports, communications, and quality assurance training materials.

  Continue to build knowledge and expertise of products, services, or technologies content and methodologies offered by the business area.

  Assist in the design and development of quality assurance and metrics architecture roadmaps/systems.

  Uses developed knowledge of the company, processes, and customers to solve a range of atypical problems using analyses to create possible solutions. Proposes improvements to processes and methods.

  Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets.

  Job Complexity:

  Perform basic functional testing and contribute to automation and performance plans.

  Solves a range of routine problems and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.

  Solves problems with general oversight or interaction on routine work and with detailed instructions on new work assignments.

  Achieve personal objectives and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.

  Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

  Supervisor/ Mentoring:

  Work independently and within your own team.

  Build internal and external working relationships.

  Tech Skills:

  Has general knowledge of QA and metrics architecture processes.

  Has working to proven knowledge of using recognized test methodologies and techniques, risk-based testing, test early/test often, considers using experience and user's business domain.

  Is developing and showing the ability to work with one or more high-level programming languages or technologies and understanding the SDLC and agile methodologies.

  Is working one or more test frameworks or tools used? Also is developing effective design and use of different types of testing.

  Is working towards test management and applies appropriate change and environment management and accurate reporting on software quality.

  Culture:

  Explains complex, difficult, and or sensitive information, works to build consensus.

  Continues to develop and support company values and understand behaviors to validate when needed.

  Experience:

  Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field. 1 - 3 years related experience, with degree preferred.About S&P Global Market Intelligence
